This is a selection guide, not an operating manual. Follow the instructions supplied with the device and accessories for use and safety.
Pressure washer hose & connection
Note the complete device model.
Note the brand, model and, if available, the item number on the rating plate. “For Kärcher” does not identify a specific device. The washer connection may differ from the gun connection.
Compare both ends.
Check the device connection and the mating part on the gun. Identify whether they use a thread, plug or bayonet. Photos of both hose ends help with identification.
Check the thread and seal separately.
M22 fittings can have different 14/15 mm sealing dimensions. “M22” alone is therefore not enough. Compare the thread pitch, seal seat and fitting type with the specific product data.
Compare all operating limits.
Check the pressure and temperature limits of every component. A higher gun rating does not automatically apply to the connected hose or adapter.
Drain cleaning & nozzles
Choose the hose and device adapter first. Then check the nozzle thread and size code. G 1/8 identifies a connection thread, not the pipe diameter or nozzle opening. The product and variant descriptions state what each set includes.
Filters & vacuum bags
Note the vacuum model and the reference number of the existing filter. Compare the shape, mount and included items. A cartridge filter cap is not a complete filter.
Follow the specific information on washability, wet/dry use and filter class. Do not infer these properties from a similar shape or the same device brand.
